I am a Lecturer in Sociology at Princeton University. My areas of interest are digital culture; economic sociology; organizations; ethnography & ethnographic methods (online & offline); microinteraction; and interpersonal risk and trust.
My Ph.D. thesis was a multiyear ethnographic study of participants in a variety of illicit and illegal endeavors in the United States and Europe. The book manuscript for this project is under contract at University of California Press.
Prior to attending graduate school I obtained my B.A. in Sociology at Columbia University, before which I spent several years in the financial industry in New York City.
